Man I would laugh but I understand this too well, imagine having to perform confidently in front of audience but you feel no confidence because your outfit SUCKS (and is uncomfortable probably). 
Grace from u pretty rapstar once said they're too busy to throw a fit over ugly/uncomfortable outfits. They just wear whatever they give them because it's tiring to choose outfits.

Okay this is good topic to discuss! And I actually agree. I see it like this outfit I wear for few hours but my super awesome outfit will stay on the internet FOREVER! It's better to be uncomfortable for few hours than to have pic with hideous outfit FOREVER

Depends on the company I would say
A.C.E for example allways says how they were treated by their CEO and she even said that she lets the boys do whatever they like and their "unfortunate" debut outfit was even their own choice (even tho they felt a bit weird at first going out in that clothes)
I follow a few other companies where the acts are new-ish or more underrated and they all seem to dress ok-ish so I don't see any issues (except that one time as Noa of T1419 literally wore a pullover with a cut-out in the back wich is weird)
