{𝕓𝕥𝕡𝕗} So, what did the MTV Unplugged prove?
-
-
Didn't know it was to ' prove' anything, but it was a great show
-
That Telepathy live is superior to the album version
That people need to stop underestimating Jin, because THIS MAN EAT CDs FOR BREAKFAST
That Blue and Grey is still superior, and that's final
THAT DIS-EASE IS ON ITS WAY TO GET THE LOUDER THAN BOMBS/PARADISE TREATMENT AND WE NEED TO TAKE DIRECT ACTIONS ARMY
-
it proved that they are best of best
-
It proves BTS has moved beyond the teen pop sensation category. Theyre taken seriously. The whole promo, the tone of the articles, the artists they associate with now are beyond fleeting shallow pop.
Its not only MTV Unplugged. Its been going on for a while, the Connect project, the Tiny Desk performances and so on.

Well most Armys already knew this but seeing the praise I’m seeing online BTS only competition is BTS. They are so far ahead of every kpop act and and boy group to exist.
The Beatles comparison seems very apt.

Blue & Grey was such a good choice for this performance. It really showcases BTS at their best.
-
They are currently one of the biggest artists in the world atm. They have such a big impact on so many people around the world and they did it as non-english speaking acts. They also just put so much emotion in their performances &
One main thing it showed was their PASSION for Music!
And it seems like its finally being recognized looking at the reviews their performances are getting!

Given the threads going around recently, Unplugged came just in time and proved several points in retaliation.
-
I couldn’t stop listening to Life Goes On
My favorite part was Jimin at 0:35
You can tell it’s live

What was your favorite part
I was dying for a Telepathy live performance and I got my wish. Unplugged Dynamite was better than the original for me. However, my favorite is the Fix You cover. It broke my heart and fixed it right afterwards. I cried. It was so beautiful and too emotional for me to handle.

That BTS is a WW phenom?
Your sig is a WW phenomenon. It's LOVE

That BTS are in a class by themselves. They did this live and it was phenomenal. The reactions reflect that - it's either high praise or very apparent jealousy being spouted, but mostly praise - and the well-known, verified public accounts are in the praise arena. Kinda funny how obvious and identifiable which is which actually is since there is no in between in the comments. BTS have nothing to prove in any case, but they did so with this anyway.

That BTS are legends doing legendary things.
Telepathy remains superior.
We want a rock inspired album.
Telepathy is what Dynamite should've been.
And if they made an 80s rock album with songs like this, i'd be in the "bangtan shit for life":

He’s about the only person I know who actively loves the Pedal to the Metal LA mix of DNA. 😑
Can’t see it happening though!

Anyway, I think the MTV performance mostly showed that they connect to the music they make with all their heart, and that’s what sets them apart.

Who's jealous lol
The several threads made right after that either said they were lip-synching or alternatively that they wished they had lip-synched like the performance is only good when they do. And several were arguing both of these opposing sides as fact. It was kinda funny.
Either way, the types of threads made solely to belittle BTS out of some weird, petty jealousy. And for what? Does it make them feel better? I've never understood the point of going around belittling others. I just don't understand that kind of negative behavior. What do they get out of it? The only thing I can see is that it speaks volumes about what type of people they are that they somehow need to get their kicks out of bashing others. That kinda co-dependence is scary ngl - hope they get help. Can't be healthy living their lives steeped in so much salt.
