with their showmanship and stage presence, Kpop community will never criticize their unsyncronized dance. If they debut in this new gen, they might get cancelled already because of 'lazy attitude'
I've always thought of BigBang more as artists instead of idols like Epik High. Which is why they can get away with no choreography if they want to.
Well since I haven't really been in the kpop loop since around June my ranking is probably the same. Of the current gen idols I do remember it's probably like this.
1. Rei (not the hottest idol ever but her charm and personality is what shoots her to top of list)
2. Hanni (same qualifications as Rei but her current dilemma brings her down a few notches mostly because I don't know who she really is. Meaning is she genuine or being strong along by a puppetmaster? Is she really a victim or is she a villain. So complicated lol)
3. Leeseul (top 5 hottest girl ever. Found out a while ago she came in second place in a bikini contest years ago. So no wonder she posts all those summer bikini videos because that's her area of expertise.)
4. Jiana (Now this girl right here is a hidden gem. She has potential to be a top 6 all time bias for me).
5. Yel (could be higher but I just don't follow the groups so I don't know enough about her beyond her looks to be emotionally attached)
I'm sure there's others I'm forgetting. But these are the ones who still in my head apparently.

Geez is everyone a Rei stan?? I thought it was common knowledge I'm her akp bias.
It's been a while since I looked in on IVE but I needed to know if Rei was still my 4th gen bias and it only took 2 seconds of this fancam to confirm she was.
I need to check up on Rei. I haven't seen or heard anything kpop related since around June.
How crazy is that? For those who remember me know that I'm 100% a girl group stan. But the power of BigBang aka the most influential kpop group of all time is what brought me back to kpop. Not a girl group. Hell the only girl group I recognized from BigBang performance reactions was Aespa.
But man that G Dragon performance and follow up BigBang performance was lit as fuck. I didn't watch anything else from mama but I saw people saying that crowd was dead for the most part of the show until the Kings did what they always do and turn an awards show into their own personal concert. I'm so glad a whole new generation is now discovering BigBang from all these reaction videos I've been seeing. I swear if TOP comes back BigBang is going to take over the world again. He's my favorite member and it still doesn't feel right without him.
In other news...
1. I heard NewJeans put in their two week notice and will will soon be busking on the streets. Doesnt matter to me either way. Only thing I'm worried about is when am I going to get to see Hanni again. No Hanni no life.
2. Crayon Pop's Choa (my bias) was diagnosed with cancer??? But I hear she's doing good now and her chances are looking great at recovering. This was devastating to hear and seeing pictures of her in the hospital bed was a gut punch I wasn't ready for. We are praying and rooting for you Choa!
3. I see Blinks still being Blinks cause I saw they mad Rose is blowing up on her own. Did she really cheat by teaming up with Bruno Mars? Did BTS team up with western artists also? Remember when f(x) was called a solo stan group lol?
4. Speaking of f(x) look at this adorable old photo I found of Sulli and Krystal.
4. Speaking of TOP. I've watched this 20 times in the last 48 hours. This is the funniest stage EVER. The way TOP be dancing has me crying. Even GD couldn't hold it together at the end there. How can just two members of a group stand there and act like cartoon characters and have more stage presence than a whole group doing the most hype choreography ever choreographed? TOP is the heart and soul of BigBang. Get this legend back in yo lineup!
So yeah it's still 2nd gen for life.

I actually agree. Even though I slightly prefer TVXQ I will admit no other boy group has ever had as many male fans as BigBang. That alone puts them on another level. Nearly every single boy group since has named them as an inspiration. It shows they are beyond kpop. I've said before they are pretty much Epik High but on steroids.
G-Dragon alone has more stage presence in his pinky than most entire groups. Taeyang and T.O.P. are also out of this world when they get on the mic.
