No. Ioi really lost slightly in Korea and far less globally because Blackpink existed. if blackpink doesn't debut ioi will buy them all

In the 2020 the public is disappointed with JYP, but there is still hope, they still listen, because in 2021, first comeback from ITZY and twice. The chart is doing well again.

Then in their second comeback well itzy and twice disappointed GP again. GP is interested in them when they go viral which rarely happens and once it happens the public has high expectations

Jype's technicians are very stupid and old-fashioned. SM's leadership era failed, it's understandable that SM had a lot of mismanagement, even rivals hybe over domination. YG's downfall is natural, their scandal is very heavy and dark. Jype is safe and the failure is because of the song and strategy

When Blackpink was rising thanks to their girl crush concept he started to make sound mature and debut Itzy with a more girl crush sound

it did well for some time then itzy faded away and start to lose momentum

What annoys me about Jype is that I don't know why they failed. I mean following trends can happen that follow BP, not just one/two, and so does AESPA. they just follow the concept not everything

I hate that they do it the wrong way and if it works they make it fail in the end.

YG digital monster is failing now because of many scandals. SM failed because it disappointed many of its own artists. but JYP is just because of the song. seriously so stupid

Imo there’s no space for JYP GG’s. Whether you like SM or not they do something weird and funky with their groups that they’ll always have a fandom even if it’s not consistent. HYBE seems to have the formula for Korean success. This used to be YG’s thing but they faded to nugudom.

JYP have always been very “follow the trend” when it comes to kpop. They have never done anything innovative. It worked somewhat before.

JYP needs to start setting the trends for the kpop music scene if he wants to remain relevant. Or he needs a strong image for his groups the way SM does it and stick to it. If you have neither you’ll flop.

JYP will start releasing the whole easy to listen to music with his next debuting group in say 2-3 years. And by then that trend would have died and then next would have started. If he’s lucky JYP will catch the tail end of the trend and have some hits and then collapse back into oblivion because they didn’t keep up.

YG was a digital monster and jype was an instant success girl group. Everything changed because big companies were too arrogant and lazy to keep up with the times. you lose your identity when you don't innovate with it and instead survive until it's forgotten that's what the big3 did except SM who failed to get class a global popularity

altough there is a chance that actually WAKEONE wants to expand and focus on managing more groups this way, without the whole process of of having big group of trainees under their roof that they would need to train, feed, and house for years

this is simpler way especially if we consider that wakeone is CJ ENM subsidiary and after all CJ owns MNet

so they are paying and creating that survival show to later gain money

this is why Wakeone will probably have their own very small limited number of trainees in I-LAND 2, maybe 3-4 of them hoping for another Chaehyun
