So... you can insult someone for his physical if you get pissed off but buying NFTs is where you cross the line?

Because I just give my thoughts and I don't have the superiority complex you seem to have... What argument are you exactly looking for when you out here insulting any idol with 0 morals whatsoever, and without saying what I should be exactly worried about someone buying NFTs?

well there are people trying to make restrictions on gun laws but because of the process and divided opinions in the country its really hard to really pass anything
Yeah, and I can imagine a lot of interests being on the way, companies who make guns and even shops, once you have a created a "gun culture" for so many years, it can be very hard to make such change, specially on a country where private companies have so much power.
-
I can't imagine being on a country where something like that would happen as almost a casual ocurrence, I hope y'all are safe, guns should be a lot more restricted on the US to feel safer and potentially avoid these kind of things happening. I don't think there is anything "free" about having a gun on the current world we live in, it's just dangerous.

I want my faves to dodge success and sales as if those things are bullets and my faves are Neo in the Matrix.
This is such a funny comment when NCT could enter the second description for some people, I haven't seen Matrix so I don't entirely understand it but the whole NCT concept takes a lot from that movie, Neo being in their name is not a coincidence.

There's still the December update to come though, NCT could even place sixth.

Wow, that's how much Formula of Love sold. What a coincidence.
That's the reference I have for their first 4 weeks. Since then they have charted for 9 weeks more but I do not know the exact units. Knowing they are usually around the #80 - #100 position which is around 15k units, they must have sold around 250k. I didn't know Twice was selling that much though
In terms of beats with "western" appeal, YGE still leads. JYPE is making progress, but still has issues with their lyrics/English word choices.
I agree that YG songs have more western appeal, but the reality is the only group holding YG is Blackpink, YG mostly doesn't know how to sell their groups there and they don't even know what they are doing anymore. Now that they can not tour and they barely give comebacks to BP, it wouldn't surprise me if they receive less money from the US than SM and JYP.

They have a sold 100k copies without JPN releases and their debut album sold 13k it’s not huge compared to twice but it still better than most k-GG...
From the 3rd to 4th gen groups only BTS,BP Twice Izone and Itzy got a streaming certification all these BG expect BTS can sell but have no hits in Japan so what now???
The gag is that Twice albums are always understocking that’s why they have a shitty longevity. Since the BB100 new reform NCT have been doing worse than usual while groups like Twice, TXT, and Itzy...have seen a growth every CB
And as far I know TXT have the longest charting album this year
1 - Where did you get those 100k from
2 - Saying Itzy has hits on Japan for having streaming certifications is just not true, even then, their sales there are not good.
3 - Idk if you mean BB200, but on that chart NCT 127 has literally the longest charting album for a release this year, they surpassed TxT recently, and both are very ahead of both Twice and Itzy
4 - If you mean Hot 100, only Twice charted there for like a week, but again, not a big statement when you are selling 1/3 of the groups you are being compared with
You're overstating the importance of physicals in Japan that are for most kpop groups driven by fansigns. and are trending down for kpop girl groups.
&Twice only sold 174k in 2019 and a few weeks later they had a million applications for the Japanese leg of their world tour. On top of being invited to Kohaku that year as well. The Feels is their best performing song in Japan since TT yet they sell nowhere near as much as they used to.
Blackpink barely sell anything and can perform in Domes.
Yoasobi are incredibly popular yet their success is mainly seen through consumption outside of physical albums.
Twice is clearly huge on Japan, I was talking about the US.

How many albums has 127 sold in the US this year?
For Sticker at least 150k
Oh didn't know. I thought it was txt for 2021.
TxT had charted 12 weeks but apparently they got out of the chart and then re-entered it, 127 so far has charted for 13 weeks in a row. TxT is also doing great on the US no doubt about it.
-
Ok, 4 streaming certifications... But they barely sell albums on Japan.
And no, NCT 127 actually have the longest streak charting on BB200 of any 2021 k-pop album. 13 weeks and still counting
Twice literally charted on hot 100???
Do you think charting a song on Hot 100 for a week makes a group automatically superior? It's hard to chart on Hot 100 but when you are selling 3/4 less than the group you are being compared to there is not even discussion. Are we still comparing streamings to physicals?

Okay my rankings of active k-pop groups based on my own observations in both these countries :
US :
3. Twice
4. NCT127
6. TxT
7. Enhypen
8. Itzy / Stray Kids / Seventeen / Ateez
Japan :
1. BTS
2. Seventeen
(if NiziU considered they'll be #3)
3. Twice
4. Blackpink
5. Enhypen
6. TxT
7. Itzy / Stray Kids
Conclusion : I personally feel removing BTS, HYBE & JYPE acts (including Twice) do as well as each other in both the markets.
Twice in the US does make a difference but not as big as BTS or Blackpink make for their companies.
Idk about Twice being third on the US, I would put both NCT 127 and TxT ahead.
And idk what have Stray Kids and Itzy done on Japan to be ahead of both Dream and 127, specially 127.
