  • There are right ways and then wrong ways to incorporate tulle ruffles into a dress lol. The top of karina’s dress is ok but other than that it just went south

I actually don’t hate the ruffled scalloped neckline of winter’s dress - it suits her dainty image - but the rest of the dress is just poorly designed and constructed

Ningning definitely stands out the most and not just bc of the colour pattern of her dress. Its silhouette is eye-catching and trendy enough, and the high-low hemline and revealing neckline provide an edge to the look

Giselle’s dress is just.. all wrong lol it’s not flattering or interesting, and the embellishments on her boobs just look weird and don’t do anything for her figure. This is not the right way to make a velvet dress look more edgy or modern :pepe-cringe:

  • I think thye are all nice, I like that they are big (well except gs, I dont like her much)

I dont like nn print that much even tho it try to take away from the b/w

winter is probably my favorite but her shoes hurt my feet (I get she need it the height), karina one is pretty too

ps. wintter jewerly is the prettiest too sadly that blue shade doesnt compliment her well (bc she is warm toned)

  • I actually don't like Ningning dress, i do like the fact that it's B&W but didn't made it boring thanks to the print but i'm not a fan of the shape

I think my favorite look is Winter, the Dress is pretty, simple but it looks good on her and the fact that they completed the look with good jewelry make it looks better

and i actually also like Giselle outfit i just have a big problem with the lack of Necklace, it make the looks look incomplete

  • They all look good.

Ningning's look kinda looks like a casual vacation holiday look but she's pretty in it.

  • Korean stylists when they discover color spectrum

    :boompepe:

This is sor true. :pepe-high-five: Black and white color is losing points for me. :boompepe: Ningning's dress stood out the most. Karina's jewelry and hair style are amazing. Her dress looks interesting shape. The top of Giselle's dress didn't fit her, it doesn't bring out her body shape in a good way. Winter just looks classy butt dress looks too simple it's not a memorable dress. Stylist where's the spice of this dress? At least their jewelry and makeup are beautiful.

  • Agree that Black and white is way overused.

NingNing dress can look extremely pretty from certain angle.

Subjectivity, I guess most people think NingNing look the best as evidence by engagement.

  • Ok i was pretty miffed by giselle’s dress bc velvet is such an underused fabric on the red carpet and its full potential wasn’t utilised here at all, so i went looking and even a quick google search turned up this velvet dress and it already improved so much on the issues i had with giselle’s dress

It also has a corset bodice and the bust area is also thinner in height like gisellse’s, but it looks a lot more flattering and doesn’t draw attention to the wrong details. The way the fabric was cut and designed for the bottom also made much better use of the material’s qualities, and overall it looks very modern and doesn’t give off that dated and matronly vibe that velvet outfits tend to do sometimes

I’m not saying giselle had to wear a dress that looks exactly like this or to show this much skin if she doesn’t want to, and this dress isn’t even that suitable for a film festival red carpet. My point is for designers to pls utilise the material you have instead of letting it hinder you, and for stylists to pls pick out outfits that look flattering on whom you’re dressing
