Weird how the kpop fandom has grown but this forum has become less active.
I mean back in 2010’ish akp message board was active af and members frequently had outside chatrooms as well, even did meet ups. I guess twitter ruined formal message boards.
it’s bc of social media. In 2010 there was no tiktok, no instagram, twitter was much less popular than it is now, same with reddit on a smaller magnitude, and facebook just wasn’t the most compatible to accommodate stanning culture in the digital age. That’s why forums on most topics still thrived back then, and kpop was the same. With the rise of social media in the past decade there was no way forums could’ve kept up with its growth, and most forums are on their last dying breath across the board. Akp is just one of the many lol, and management doesn’t help
