Sakura's digital souvenirs might have sold out faster if people had known about how it worked beforehand or realized that they could run out. I'm a huge Sakura fan and i didn't even even bother making one until a couple of hours after since the whole thing was bit confusing. As for theqoo, Chaewon had a bigger korean fanbase than Sakura for a while now. And not to mention lots of people are all hot and bothered about the Garam scandal thing at the moment.

Yep, only recently have i learned of Chaewon's star power. Everyone always seems to overlook the Joyuriz trio and only focus on Sakura/Wonyoung but it's clear that each member of the trio has a powerful and loyal fandom, they aint pushovers for sure.

i’m by no means an izone stan or watch their vids religiously, i’ve only seen at most the occasional izone video that youtube recommends me or some generic dance vids that are at the surface of a fandom’s rabbit hole, and yet even i could see her potential from a mile away.

I remember watching the dance practice video for panorama and she stood out as the best at executing the moves by far, even better than chaeyeon or yena or yujin. For eg. i was very impressed that she’s the only member that got the prominent leg kick choreo in the post-chorus (in the 2nd chorus) correct, and was never sloppy at any point in rest of the vid even when she wasn’t in the centre, and there’s just this natural charisma from her combined with her talents and commitments and aesthetics that makes it very satisfying to watch her dance lol. Or in the sequence dance video, there’s this body lock part right at the end of the first chorus and chaewon was also one of the few members that executed that move right. I’m very impressed by her meticulous attention to detail and never cheating any move

Just a small correction. Chaewon wasn't above Wonyoung in China. In China Iz*One popularity back then went Sakura then Wonyoung then Yujin. In Japan It was Sakura, Minju, Chaewon, Yuri, and then Wonyoung. In Korea Chaewon and Yuri had the largest number of fans but Wonyoung was the most known by the general public followed by Minju.

For people who are new or doesn't follow IZ*ONE, Chaewon was actually really popular. She wasn't that popular when they started but blew up right after Fiesta. Since then her views have been one of the higher ones among the IZ*ONE members

She was one of the most popular in Korea and her popularity in Japan climbed so much that she was only behind Sakura so it makes sense
