NingNing is technically better though Lily is also good

but I prefer Lily's tone a lot, I much prefer these darker vocal colours (like Yuqi, another fave) to the high pitched ones

I don't know anything about technical stuff so I won't comment on that. But I definitely like Lily's vocals the most out the whole 4th gen by a landslide. She has exactly the kind of voice I love.

I don’t know what to answer until I got more lily m live vocals to be honest I’m surprised I thought ning ning will be a little better but lily take the cake not by landslide but a little both are good but lily m riffs and the vocal power dammm I won’t say lily and Wendy are the same now maybe 2 more years atleast

Sorry but lily is not even close to ningning, IDK why some r overhyping Lily's vocal comparing with likes of taeyeon, Wendy, ningning etc, she is a ok ok singer, does her job of main vocalists other than that nothing is super special about her vocal ..

I think Lily is overhyped like i am not denying she is a good vocalist but i think people likes to pretend she is better than she actually is she seems to strain her voice very often and sometimes her notes fall flat but since Aespa usually lipsyncs and Nmixx has been singing live people fool themselves into thinking Lily is better than Ningning

Both are good but i have no idea how it is purely technical wise, others who understand it better will be better judge than me. I think Lily's tone or color is what more people associate with power vocal. Both still lack material (there are clips when they were younger but that was long time ago), Lily just debut and for Ningning even MYs were surprised by her low notes in DCT.

they have 1 less member than RV lol, they are still better vocally on average than RV and with quite a gap, having Wendy above everybody else but also 2 weak vocalist don't make them better vocally than aespa, you don't judge the entire group based on one single member

I've been thinking something like this along the same lines.

Not sure where exactly NCT's and Aespa best vocalists stand exactly, would it be somewhere around Above Average, Seohyun/Jessica or Solji/Mamamoo level?

But the 2nd gen groups and early 3rd gen groups of SM had truly outstanding vocalists in each of their groups, so that seems to be a difference.
