Marie Skłodowska Curie had two daughters called Irène and Éve.
But much more interesting and less pointless trivia about her is that she was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, and also the first person to win TWO Nobel Prizes. (one for Physics and another for Chemistry.)
Well... I finished reading a book about her today.

Some of the most influent Nazi party members came to my country (Brazil) as a refugees after WW2.
Josef Mengele (also named Angel Of Death 'cause of his atrocious crimes) died by drowning in a beach here in my country (1979).
He didn't receive any punishment and lived a decent life until his last days.

Here, I'll give you an animal fact too. Despite being tiny themselves, kiwi birds are actually related to emus and ostriches which might explain the size of their eggs.
They birth eggs that would be equivalent to a human female giving birth to a four-year old child....

well, I mean if they could figure out how to put some electrolytes and stuff in it to make a rehydration solution, it may have prevented some deaths.
Speaking of cholera, the search for the cause of a cholera outbreak in Victorian London was the start of the field of epidemiology.
