Thoughts on Step Back?

Still not feeling it. The beat sounds flat and unfinished. The vocal melody doesn't ignite anything within me either. It feels like SME bought a random cache of DemJointz's Rap beats "as-is" and "struggle bus" getting the sing-rap-vocal melodies right.

Sing rapping isn't new, it's been around since the 90's-00's too. SME isn't putting in any study hours, at the institutional level of the agency, to truly become competent at these sort of things.

Still terrible

It's pretty good. I was listening to it this morning and it's not half bad. It sounds so unique and different to other K-Pop songs (in my opinion), so that's nice. Have a great day/night!

one of my favourite songs of the year. It's so good. I also love the lineup. It's iconic

Love it, love the bass and the production on the bridge and the dance break is great. The vocals on the "level part" are a little bit too high for my taste, but everything else is amazing. The vocal choir chops add a lot of epicness to it too.

I don't like it because it have too monotone sound.

Took more than 50 listens to finally feel comfortable with it.

Now I enjoy it, mainly due to choreo.

Still underwhelming. My main issue of the Songs meaning of cat fighting doesn't mesh with such a badass line up image. The song also didn't really sounds all that great, chorus is pretty forgettable especially after the build up of the pre chorus and at times it sounds like their shouting over one another.

I liked it then, I like it now..

Personally I didn't like it and thought the lyrics were silly. Not my style of song.

P.S. I shouldn't get bashed just for having an opinion which has always been the problem at this place.

I respect that. I thought it was good, but not great. That being said, I can easily see why people would dislike it and everyone can have their own opinion, which leads me to my next point. I'm sorry to hear that you are getting bashed for your opinion on here. Speaking from personal experience on here (unfortunately), it sucks. I really hope some users can learn to act more like adults and agree to disagree and not engage in petty fights. It's not worth it and won't help anyone involved in any way. Have a great day/night!

Some days i like it, some days i dont. If they wouldve taken out the screaming parts, it would be a lot better. I like the instrumentals a lot, very innovative.

The song is good, but because it is a little bit overwhelming song, I can't always turn it on and listen. Except for the lyrics the song is between blop and bop. I don't listen every day, but I do occasionally.

I have yet to complete my first listen, it felt like the song was begging me not to listen to it.
