Too many to count at this point, a ton of groups have impressed me.
I was all set on hating Ive and Kepler but both came out with bops, now i consider them Izone's daughters and Izone's legacy.
Everglow and Itzy make the best most consistent music.
Loona has been on fire recently, Gidle because of Soyeon and Miyeon.
StayC talented and a great debut song and B side. Aespa with the SOTY for 2021. Weekly with an underrated megabop in Holiday.
The BGs also have made an impact, SKZ with the best male rapline in the business, Ateez with one of the best BG songs of alltime in Answer, and TXT with their turn towards rock really making me notice them.

I am a bit jealous of him, he somehow incorporates 19th century European geopolitics into his hot takes. That's the dream lol. You learn about history and Kpop at the same time.

i cant agree on 2021 was the rise of the fourth age. Of course aespa rise greatly but that is one group. If you look overall 2021 was more the year of revival. Well maybe the last year befor the great change?
In Korea BP with Hylt and lsg wouldnt leave the charts. the same with oh my girls nonstop and dolphin.
Brave girls and laboum old songs came up. Even if they werent eligible for the year end awards it was still 3 older groups with the highest points over the year.
And International im sure it was still bp and twice with the highest streaming.
Maybe with all the new ggs we will get the rise of the 4th age this year. But there is still the one gg that was made to rule them all that could come back from their hiatus and destroy them all with just a teaser of their comeback.^^
