What will Chaeyeon do after leaving IZ*One for her career? (WHY IS WM WAITING?)

Weird how WM can give ONF 4 comebacks in one year but can't bother to give Chaeyeon a highly anticipated solo project

I still wonder if RBW let go of those WM trainees just to minimize competition for Purple Kiss or if there was an actual more legitimate reason behind it. But yeah, it's worrying that Chayeon's company (AND Minju's actually) doesn't seem to be doing much with her or have any plans in the future. She needs to make her way out there before people completely forget about her for all the new bloods

I'm positive that's what happened to the WM trainees. Any time two companies merge, there are always folks being let go. No reason to have two GGs competing against each other and potentially cannibalizing each other's sales and fandom growth.

I would say Minju is clearly right behind Chaeyeon in terms of being paid dust by their labels. Honestly, at least her label got Chae onto a hit show after Izone's disbandment. Minju has done virtually nothing the past 10 months except magazine pictorials and a few appearances on Sandara's variety show. Her Music Core gig was an Izone gig, not something Urban secured for her after Izone. I mean what has Urbanworks done for her since last March/April except convince her not to leave for Hybe's GG?

minju was the 'it girl' for a while

she's still somewhat active as a model

but urban works is nowhere as effective as 8d with hyewon (a less famous member)

minju would do exceptionally well if she followed hyewon's influencer idol path

imagine what a firm like 8d would have done for minju
