I just reread this and everything screams P!nk to me. She has stuck to that image through and through and has evolved with it as she grew up, she is simply awesome.
I'm glad Avril is back in the music scene after all her health problems and wish her every success. Some of her songs are forever part of the soundtrack of my life...
But P!nk is that queen, Just like fire is just an anthem. And that is just one of many.

God, I hated that song when it first came out.
I still don't love it to this day, it made me think Avril thought too much of herself. But the song and video are fun as hell.
I grew up listening to Avril when I was a teenager my playlist was full of Avril albums , bsides and unreleased songs (I was obsessed) it was also full of punk rock bands and Avril was the only solo female artist that I listened to (not including female artists in bands) and then Taylor swift came with her debut album and it was completely different than what I listen to (I loved the way she tell a story through her songs) she's the 2nd solo female artist that I really liked

It's an amazing album with no skippable songs and a funny story since I liked her songs so much I started to get a crush on her (plz I was 10

Interesting. Makes sense then. In the states, Avril had like 2 or 3 big hits and disappeared before coming back with I Don't Like Your Girlfriend, so P!NK ended up having more hits here overall.
Avril because she was more relatable I guess.
