No I don't. One time I was walking at night to get something out my mom's car because she forgot. So she handed me the keys to go get it for her and as I'm walking back there's this guy standing there and he starts following me. He had this look in his eyes it was horrifying. I made it back home safely and he just kept walking. I do wonder what would have happened if I was in legitimate danger. There has been drug addicts and such walking around in the late night and early morning lately around where I live. I don't like going out at night unless I'm with a group of people.

Omg I'm so sorry that this happened to you, I know that it feels horrible because I was once followed by an old man when I was outside a convenience store with my friend and her sister, we ignored him and started walking back to my friend's house but he just waited outside her house when we were in the garden and it was so scary. It's so sad that we have to worry about these things.

I live in what it considered a relatively safe area in a huge metropolitan. I live near a very busy street, and there are usually always people out up till a certain point (probably after 10 pm).
Even despite this, while I HAVE walked around at night, I try not to make it a habit, and there are certain areas I would not be caught dead in even as early as 6 pm. Even though it's a relatively nice area, there are a lot of homeless people in this city in general, and I have seen a lot of crazy things happen even in the middle of the day.
So, yeah, no. I'm not comfortable. I do it, but I am always very anxious and paranoid.

In the neighborhood I live right now I feel perfectly fine walking around after the dark. The idea to be worried beyond basic cautiousness (I live in one if the biggest cities in my country) hasn't really hit me.
But in the area I lived in before it was kinda scary at times. I would do quick runs to do store but nothing beyond that and was always ultra aware of my surroundings.
