They come from a cross company survival show where not only did they had to try to debut as a whole, let alone but be it under JYP or P Nation. And there is almost no group content of them either

So it’s not surprising. That doesn’t mean they aren’t good or interesting enough to receive hype, there’s just not much of a push to expect much of it (yet). But once a actual group debut plan + name + official teasers come out, it’ll pick up

Also there were way more people talking about them then they did with Xoridinary Heroes predebut

Just cuz you personally aren’t hyped for them or see others being it doesn’t mean they aren’t, and I fail to see how you can determine a groups whole career when they don’t even publicly exist yet

tbh I feel the same. I even hear people talk more about the pnation trainees. If I didn't know jyp is a big company, I would've never guessed from watching the show

And for everyone in general who are over critical towards groups predebut, just be honest & say you want them to fail. The “I don’t see much success for them at this rate” fake concern is so transparent

I also don’t know why y’all keep doing it when you know half the time people are gonna make you look stupid by reviving the comments once they become a success

I don't tend to pay much attention to any idol pre-debut. I don't like getting caught up if I'm not even going to like their music, but I still loved Yena's and Xdinary Heroes' debuts (for two recent examples). And I don't think my stance is uncommon.

People talked about how TWICE was a flop between SIXTEEN and LOA's initial charting, and we all know how that turned out. Predicting people's failure usually backfires, and it's just mean spirited.

Basically they decided it was in his best interest if he keeps training for a little bit longer.

He was the only one generating hype for this group... Why put him through the survival show only to remove from the line-up in the end?
