... such non existent Spotify streams?? I don't understand, they are pretty popular ww with kpop community, do they not like their music? I personally like some of them, not all but. Also I watch their videos often they are fun, almost became a fan, but Spotify streams or yt seems weird and low
How come NCT have so high album sales and...
-
-
I don't think that they're that popular on Korea, either. Probably they have a lot of Chinese fans
-
-
I honestly don't understand either
-
-
They (like other groups) have hardcore fans that buys all the shits they're releasing.
-
Don't mind me, I'm just here for my akorn.

The obsession is getting weird at this point.

Maybe the fans are listening to their physical albums? Or working towards low CO2 emissions for a better future (well that’s how I’d spin it lol)
-
They have a huge stanbase but due to the unconventional nature of their songs they don't have as many casual fans who stream.
-
they literally have billions of streams
-
-
Do these groups have 7 spotify accounts?
-
-
i dont think this will be a hit thread but we shall see
Maybe because this is all already discussed in the anon section on a daily basis, not much to add.
-

I'm looking at seperate units ofc, none of their songs have above 100 mil streams which the other groups do and aespa is close. You can't deny their spotify streams are lower than you'd expect if you look at their sales (and I mean sales for the units seperately) and they're a 5 year old group

Such beautiful human beings, prioritizing just one form of support so they can help NCT and make sure they have a future to live on
-
I wonder , maybe if we ask this question 10 more times, the people who don't even stan but must find an adequate explanation can finally accept a reasonable answer everyone can agree on.
or maybe nothing but a negative answer will suffice and it's just that
The obsession is getting weird at this point.

Please help us stream our nugu faves, we photocard stans don't know how to download Spotify app, only Mercari and ebay

I refuse to follow some dumbass fucking guide on how to stream a song so my faves can get some kind of dumbass fucking Spotify record before some other group. Listening to kpop music isn't my job.
I don't care how many streams a group's songs have or how many monthly listeners they have. Just because you or the OP or someone else has an issue with the amount of streams NCT has doesn't mean it's actually a problem. Some people actually listen to music because they like it, not because they want to check off some arbitrary milestone.

NCT 127 has songs under other Spotify accounts and they are about to surpass 1.4B streams anyways, so idk man. Their most recent album just surpassed 100M streams and it was the fastest one in their career.
And I love all the nitpicking, I never see this energy when talking about other groups who sell as much as them.
And no, it's not "lower" if you have no idea how the group or fandom dynamics works. I'm a fan of all sub-units, do you really think fans of all sub-units will be able to stream 6 comebacks?
-

It's always only a problem when it's NCT... how tired we are... like if you're that worried about the streams then go stream them??? Be the change you want to see in the world.

I didn't say it's a problem. I was just wondering why..

but fans don't seem to have much problem buying the different albums

I love how people talk out of their ass without understanding about the group, their spotify accounts and the fandom.

excuze me boss is practically at 100 million streams

but if all those groups have more streams like u claim then why don't they have more sales than nct, why isn't that the question to ask?? why aren't the people streaming those groups buying albums'?

You nitpicked again and ignored everything I said.

Why won't NCT meet my arbitrary standards?!
-
not everyone is on anons but good to know
It's a hot topic in the deep web of the forum, sis
-
ofcourse it has been years and they have more songs... for other groups it took one year so that's clearly more.
this question is asked, because nct is just one group having something different with many groups: high sales lower spotify streams. which is the opposite of all the other groups.. for the other groups it's normal, cause it seems standard but nct seems more like an exception so that's why some are curious why. It's not that big of a deal to ask
-
It seems that this is an incredibly sensitive subject. Like lipsync and plastic surgery

You should only compare them with SVT. The only ones who sell as much as them.

Well nct are flops… i thought we all knew that
