Mixing them with water gives you both a black porridge and a cookie-infused water, this without losing any of the Oreo's characteristic flavor that you will lose when you mix it with m*lk. I also like to think that by doing so I'm neutralizing the dross sweetness from the hellish surefire ticket to getting diabetes that is the Cream which makes me feel like a health-conscious person

In Lebanon there is a fun dish (kids usually like this a lot) called macarona bil laban. Its macaroni mixed with plain yogurt, salt, garlic (optional) and dried peppermint leaves.
I got served this once at a friends house back in elementary! Don't remember where her family was from, somewhere in the middle east. Definitely considered weird in my country but as I remember it it was pretty tasty.
