One thing I like here in Germany is a card you can get in a lot of stores (I think there are 300 stores who do this). With this card you get points whenever you go to a partner-store and bought something, so for example there would be a supermarket who is partner and you let's say get 7 points for your grocery shopping. Each 100 points are 1€ and if you are over 200 points you can spend them in stores to get stuff cheaper or if you have like over 1K points you can also use it on the website of the card and get stuff for almost free (example: a necklace would be 150€ in stores but they offer that you give them 1.2K of your points and you only pay 30€ on the necklace)

I also love that most supermarkets have a sectipn for cheap bread and pastry items. You pick them up from a shelf with a glas-lid yourself and most stores who have this section also provide you a cutting mashine to slice bread (You can also choose how thin or thicc you want your bread to be).

In my area is also a ice cream store that has a section where you purchase a cup and than fill it in yourself. Than if you got your ice cream (I mean frozen yoghurt) you can choose from multiple topings as like orance-slizes, gummi bears, tiny cookies, cornflakes,...

My country also probably has the biggest selection of vegetarian and vegan food options so it's pretty easy to go vegan or vegetarian and a lot towns and cities also have stores who are specialised in biological food so if you may not find enough stuff in a supermarket you might find some more biological and vegetarian/vegan things in such specific stores (even tho most items tend to be a bit more expensive there).

Just the general fact that most foods are quit cheap here compared to other countries. I mean when some person from another country says in their videos they bought a block of cheese for 10 bucks. Guess what, here in Germany you get the same cheese or even better cheese for so cheap you can get 1 block of cheese for just 2 bucks

I also like how big the selection of chocolate is here

I'm also from Germany and what's really good here are the low rental fees.

Yesterday I watched a video about rental fees in Tokyo, and a 1 room apatment with yout 20 m² cost about 500-600$.

Some people posted that it was cheap in comparison to the States, where you pay about 1000$

I'll move next month from 1 room to 3 rom with about 80 m² a balcon, a little garden and private parking place for about 550$. The area is not the best but also not a ghetto

About a decade ago I could say kpop but now it's so international that it's not really only Korea's anymore

Bread. Whenever I talk to people from other countries, they all are in awe about our sourdough bread. There are a lot of countries with a wide variety of bread, but german bread is something very special. When my uncle moved to the netherlands, whenever we visited, my cousin would beg us to bring in some german bread.

Also Schadenfreude. It exists everywhere, but most countries use our word for it, because they don't have it. It's hard to pronounce, though.

And also Karneval. There is of course the famous one in Brasil, but it's very different from german Karneval. I know that it like evolved into this "reason to get drunk", like all german festivals do, but the way it is traditionally held, with it's Sitzungen, it's dancing, the speeches, the parades.... it's really unique.

uhh theres something you can only find (i think) in my state!! theres uh faygo and vernors. both are sodas for anyone who doesnt know. vernors is a gingerale thingy and faygo just has a bunch of flavours. my favorite is the cherry one. i think its cherry lol faygo is made in detroit, not sure about vernors though
