Eh? Not sure where you're shopping but the last few albums I bought were $8.99 on iTunes (I only buy digital). The basic physical CD is $13.99 at Target. This isn't much of a mark-up. It costs more if you get all the books and stuff just like if you just to get the Deluxe Whatever Edition of a movie or a video game (even then it would cost me less to buy the Deluxe Whatever kpop album for $21 than it costs me to buy the Deluxe Whatever blu-ray..)

Obviously everyone's situation is different, but to me, this is a pretty cheap price to pay for entertainment. But then I don't complain about capitalist greed: sure I think things could be better and more equitable, but I also like living in my capitalist county and enjoy making a salary which allows me to buy silly fun things like kpop albums and overpriced cups of coffee. 🤷♀️
