Has anybody here gone clubbing before?

I've heard people saying that there are usually plenty of creeps in such areas. Is it something I should be afraid of? I'm nervous

I have definitely witnessed some moronic behavior tbh,but nothing too crazy.Just stay within your circle of friends and don't stray away too much, and you should be good.

For men? Biggest waste of time and money in human existence.
For women? Good if she is a narcissist - clubs make a fortune selling alcohol to men who come to give free drinks and pay even freer attention to women they end up resenting by the end of the night. Many spoiled women have turned this type of grift into an art form, but most women end up being repulsed by the club environment in a very short time.
Loud, impossible to converse with people, attracts the lowest dregs of humanity, makes mafia-connected owners rich…hard to find anything good about modern nightclubs.
My advice is to avoid them completely.

It's only for the New Year. My friends have been asking ever since forever. I'm not really into clubbing and crowds either.
Your advice sounds like what my parents would say but they only wish the best for me.
It's best, this never becomes a casual routine ever.

It's not really my kind of thing.
Stick with your friends

if you can, don’t fall to peer pressure for drinking. keep your drink covered so no one drugs you, and please be safe and get an uber or lyft if you or your friends end up drinking.
it’s like going to a concert so just try to enjoy the experience, it can be fun, esp if you enjoy dancing.
if you’re sensitive to sound, grab some earbuds.
if you’re wearing a coat, there’s usually a coat check, and it is polite to tip when you’re picking your coat back up when you’re leaving.
if you do end up drinking and you want to be safe, buy your own drink(s). don’t forget to tip the bartender. when stranger/non-friend people buy you drinks and you’re not able to watch the drink, ask what it is and say you don’t drink whatever it is and get a different drink.
there’s usually someone in the bathroom who helps everyone, if he/she helps you, it’s nice to give them a cash tip.
dance near your friends or near girls if you can, if someone tries to grab you or mess with you and you don’t like it, and if they don’t stop when you tell them to stop, spill your drink on them or act like you tripped and knee them in the crotch. if they follow you around and even outside, just scream. seriously. if you can get to the bar, ask for an angel shot and the bartenders know what that means.
that’s all i can think of rn, anyone else please help and add on what you know.
please mask up and try not to get the omicron.

i would say be aware of guys trying to walk up behind you and grind on you if you dont want that sort of thing, especially if the club is more packed. the types of creeps you get depends on the vibe of the club though. if its dark with a packed dance floor be on high alert. if the lighting is brighter and it isnt as packed you wont have to be as cautious i would say.

Yeah and it's so overrated

I'm been to gazillion techno parties and i never had a bad experience in my life. I don't drink, i perhaps take one bear but i mostly drink only water. I just dance and enjoy the music :)

I agree with the last part but the women part is unnecessary and you act like it's a waste of money and time for men only....
