I am really sad for her that her first big acting role is mired in such controversy.
I'm English, so I am not well versed enough in South Korean history to comment on the story. But I am disappointed how much backlash there has been.
Jisoo was obviously so excited about this drama, her and Haein have such good chemistry... such a shame it turned out like this.

From what i’m seeing, there’s a pretty high chance EP 3 won’t be aired… I think it’ll get cancelled soon, the hate it’s getting in korea is hard to ignore. Petitions asking for its cancellation are getting hundreds of thousands of signatures…

lol she'll be fine. YGE has never cared about Korean popularity anyway. Frankly, they barely care about BP at all. 23 songs in five years is all you need to know about how much they care.
Jisoo and BP members have enough clout to say fuck you to Korea and still live fancy rich lives because of the incredible support of Blinks around the world. Every member will sell 500k albums, every group comeback will sell 1M, every tour they do will sell out. Netflix and YT and whatever other media behemoth will still kill to get the girls on their shows. Don't worry.
Everyone deserves blame. JTBC, the writers, the producers, YG (apparently didn't learn anything from their other shitstorm drama Joseon Exorcist), the actors, the advertisers/sponsors.
