That's true, but the devil's advocate to that is that she could've grown since then, and might hold different opinions now.

not everyone is homophobic... its true some may support only because of image but you cant say all of them are like that.. that's a baseless claim

I'm from the south and was able to happily come out with no trouble in middle school. Not all regions are bad nor are all people from the bad regions

I don't think it's fair to say every straight celebrity is homophobic.

But when it comes to K pop, I think fans have very unrealistic expectations about how many are allies. Korea is very conservative, undoubtedly many idols share the same views.
