I have seen many posts on reddit saying 4th gen groups lack talent, charisma & IT factor. Those opinions are always voted as popular. So I am curious on what akp users think.
Not bashing or dragging! constructive criticism accepted.

Non 3rd gen stuck up Kpoppies
Boomer stans saying that the previous generation will always be superior, that they'll never come close to "x group", and this and that.
Oh wait.
I don't think they lack much but 3rd gen groups are still very dominant so that's why people aren't paying much attention. People always say the same thing about how 4th gen groups "lack" something, it's a broken record at this point.
It's just the standard 's are too high u know what am talking about
interesting choice of words my friend...
you could have made a neutral thread by asking what people thought of the 4th like
what does people think of the 4th gen groups but instead you had to preface the issue by stating what does the 4th gen LACK...which already has a negative connotation
4th gen reflects how the kpop music industry has progressed, more edm, dancing, etc. People say 4th gen lacks vocals but I think 4th gen lacks any individuality and creativity. In both boy groups and girl groups, something that 3rd and 2nd gen had and excelled at.

I haven't asked it by anything negative connotation okay so I am gonna edit it

I don't think they lack creativity. I think it is because of the oversaturation. So many groups are debuting at the same time. Before you can find 5 groups doing similar things, now you will find 10. But some groups are offering some creative concepts like CIX, ATEEZ, E'Last etc. EDM was in kpop since like 2010s, synth pop, dance pop & electronic music etc EDM subgenres were among so many kpop songs. But nowadays we are getting more sub genres of EDM music I guess. Dancing has became more relevant I agree.
Imo 4th gen groups seem promising. It's only been about 2 years since some of the earliest 4th gen groups debuted. Give them some time. Some groups have already found their own individuality and benefitted from it. Like Stray Kids for example.

i dont think you intended it that way but that was the effect...
let me give you a quick example :
what do you think Twice lacks internationally compared to BP
v
compare the differnces between Twice and BP internationally
can you see the differences in connotation between the two different sentences ?

It's just 3rd and 2nd gen stans forcing their own personal opinions on people who genuinely enjoy the new gen groups.
Except for itzy, pretty boring

They're all little boomers, they said the same thing with 3rd gen, now it's 4th gen, lmao 4th gen will rise, just you wait and see.
okay
