It's been the year of the solo. But YG has put out huge music projects. Also keep in mind that YG is still bankrolling THEBLACKLABEL.

Although YG has been making tons of money through other revenue streams, they've put a lot of music out and I appreciate their departure from typical idol stuff and focusing on solos and AKMU a lot. It's easy to keep banking on easy money with group releases. I'm glad WINNER and BLACKPINK members as well as Loren and Somi got a chance to shine with solo projects.

But to put it in perspective. The 2021 releases:

On average that's a release every 4 weeks.

That's just music, YG artists have also been busy with acting, CFs and individual projects.

And several artists have held or will hold online concerts in 2021.

BLACKPINK's concert in particular was a massive production and well thought out.

I'm happy they took their time with that one.

Apparently Winner are making a comeback in 2022, so it's probably gonna be just before Seungyoon and Mino enlist in the military.

Even i'm blink , I'm more sorry for treasure than BP .... our medium company is a trash
