is YG releasing music from their groups anytime soon?

Lisa did say in an interview that BP are working on something, but...

Well they did say both Treasure and iKon would release albums at the end of the year but we’re nearing the end of November and there’s no comeback announcement for either group so yeah…YG being YG.

They're making bank through YG plus, releasing music is def not their main source of income.

It's been 11 months for Treasure I know they have a drama but like, music is appreciated too YG considering music is their job

Does YG even have groups at this point? Ikon seems to be functionally disbanded (i only remember headlines about solos and did someone from Ikon have a kid?). Winner are in the military, arent they? I've only heard about Mino releasing a solo album and of course that SMTM crap.

That leaves Treasure, which has some kind of show coming up. And of course, BP, which moves like a collection of soloists and not like a Kpop group.

YG stopped caring about music industry. They know next bp comeback will pull massive numbers in every metric regardless and the big money will come from touring anyways

and that album has moved like 2,3M and the previews one 1,5M both under YG plus

HYBE has the biggest album sellers in kpop and all their albums are distributed through YG Plus. So, they definitely make a lot of money from that but they will make more if they release their own albums
