It is her 2nd attempt to become part of KPop (and appeal to the world fans). She is trying to copy the BTS playbook, encouraging the world to love themselves.

Lee Jieun used to release experimental songs until the Zeze controversy. After that, she grew too big to adventure, although she has met people doing hip hop and might release some songs in that genre in her upcoming album which has not been announced yet.

BTS basically started the love-yourself genre. That is what propelled it to the top of the world, and LeeJieun appears to be trying to follow that formula to advance her international career.
