Nope. Most idols debut extremely young, I'd prefer if they were older.
yup. k-pop idol culture has a ridiculous issue with wanting younger and younger idols. Then after they've been in the industry for like 6-7 years they "expire".
Most people actually find themselves and improve with age, so it's ridiculous to disdain people for age. truly we live in an ageist society.

Not at all. In the contrary I think they are around the perfect age, old enough to understand the industry they are getting into and the contracts they are signing.
Kpop fans call idols in their prime old and hags, drop female idols when they hit a certain age and call them cougars and then turn around and complain about minors and literal children debuting as idols. Maybe if you all didn't put an expiration date on these adult idols' heads.
Ofcourse not, I would actually prefer it cause so many 4th gen idols are younger than me and it makes me feel old and I can't relate to them as much.
But I'd say that the most important thing is to have people that are close in age. Not 25 year old members in the same group as 14 year olds, so no big age gap unless it's a temporary group maybe.
I would far rather older idols with proper knowledge of what they were getting into did than really young kids.
I agree, I don't mind that at all! All that matters for me is the talent and the personality, if someone has what it takes to debut then them being 20 or 30-something should be the problem. I saw some people mentioning that being an idol is very physicallt tiring, hence why the younger you are the easier it might be, so this is potentially the only obstacle I can think of. But if they know what type of job it is and they want to do it, why not?
