for me I think when I was around 6 or 7 it was part of my childhood there were multiple tv channels that air different anime
When did you started to watch anime?

I saw the Naruto on TV for the first time. It was the Kakashi Chunin exams episode, it was a lot of fun and I liked it a lot. Then I searched to find more. I started anime because of Naruto. I watched the Shounen anime first. Then I saw that there are romantic shoujo animes and I tried it and I liked it very much. Before Naruto, I only looked at Dragon Ball and didn't continue anime series, but I remember starting other anime after Naruto.
Dragon Ball anime started my love of anime, but it was the Naruto series that kept me it going. -

Grew up with it. Brazil broadcast animes since the 80s or before. I used to watch Tenchi Muyo and Saint Seiya everyday after school.

I watched a few as a kid: Pokemon, Digimon, Inuyasha and Rurouni Kenshin.
As a pre-teen I also watched Fullmetal Alchemist and Bleach.
But it was only when I was 16 that I really got into anime after watching Sword Art Online.

Excluding shows like Pokemon, Yugioh, Beyblade (any show which's main purpose is to sell cards or toys) that air as kids' shows here I was about 12 when I started watching anime.

i used to watch naruto, one piece, bleach etc like when i was 4 or 5. Then i became teenager and only watched anime named Lovely Complex, and dropped animes like Tora dora, Kimi ni todoke now i just can't watch animes anymore I am just not interested how much I try to watch, tried to watch Death Note but dropped after 10 ep

Sailor Moon aired on TV in my country when I was in elementary school and then Pokemon started when I was in middle school, but I didn't really get into it until my senior year of high school when I found Sailor Moon on afternoon Toonami. I watched my first fansub shortly after that and now here I am.
