BTS impact this year was non existent. Why?

bts impact feels non existent to you because:

1. they've hit the peak.
   there's really no where for an artist selling out tours in pre sale, and charting at #1 on the hot 100 and every korean chart for months and months on end, to go. sure, they could start charting longer but there's a point when any song starts feeling stale, and that's the only point bts songs seem to drop. i dont know if there's anymore expanding bts can do when they're basically the number one act alr.
2. there's no more markets for them to conquer.
   everyone with an internet connection already knows and loves bts. those without, probably can't afford enough to be a target audience for any artist.
3. we're used to bts's success.
   it just doesn't hit the same after like 4-5 years of bts just outperforming themselves. it was fun when bts and bp were competing for youtube records since it sounded like they were progressing, but bts now only competes with bts so no one other than army and haters track it.
4. allkpop armys are hidden ninjas.
   you don't hear from them unless you attack bts or enter their territory. there are probably more aespa threads on allkpop despite bts being 5000x more popular.
5. you don't care enough to see what they're up to, and make threads like this and go back into hiding after hearing the stats from angry armys.

i've never seen a non multi army going into a thread that didn't involve bts- and even if they do it's really really rare, and usually people like the mods or one or two casual stans.

if you go into the bts guild you'll see a shit ton of armies you wont see anywhere else
