I have seen their pictures and they all look more or less, I would not say "ugly" but unattractive.
this is very strange for a kpop group, because kpop fans are obsessed with visuals ....
also here on AKP were thousands of threads about the most beautiful and ugliest kpop idols ... but not a single one about Bigbang ... as one of the most unattractive kpop group ever...

From a guy point of view, who doesn't usually listen to boybands, but enjoyed Big Bang's music, I agree, they are not your typical Korean cute boys. But they were talented and charismatic, which was more important than certain look.
One of male groups I always respected (except for Seungri after we found out what kind of person he is) and liked watching their MVs.

I know some of you like to live in a different world hating BB (not you OP, I'm talking in general), but T.O.P is considered one of the visuals of 2nd gen, he is always in the top 10, always. And GD is sooo attractive, has a super sexy aura sometimes and is super charismatic that I am surprised some of you don't find him handsome when he clearly is.... Anyways, people have different tastes, but let's not act like BB is a no visual group..

What? T.O.P. is literally the most classically handsome man in kpop. I like men to to look like men but it depends on taste I guess.
Well, you're entitled to your opinion but except Daesung and Seungri (now after he is exposed), the rest were considered as handsome. TOP was always in the list of top 5 visuals during 2nd gen time while I won't deny that some people used to say they don't get the hype of his looks but it happens with 3rd and 4th idols too.
YG's styling was never done to make them look pretty like flower boys since the company wanted to create a different image for their artists back then (which worked considering they had huge support from men as well), you can see it with 2ne1 too. It only started with 3rd gen idols that their styling were done to make them appear beautiful.
I believe GD was seen as a visual during 2nd gen. Visual criteria evolved drastically.
TOP is easily one of the most handsome men I've seen (and not just in kpop). Also he is considered as very good looking even by korean standards - I've seen a lot of men (male celebs) admire/envy his looks - it's the sort of effortless masculine good looks that appeal to both men and women. (btw bigbang has one of the most equal gender distribution/appeal in kpop and I think their looks also play a part in this.)
I have always found them all very attractive and unique looking (with TOP and seungri being the obvious standard visuals and the rest being uniquely attractive).

Their attractiveness are not not for all cup of tea. Coz we have different taste...They are not that handsome but the aura and their charisma is unbeatable...both in group or as soloist...
Like people have already mentioned, T.O.P is the visual of Big Bang (and of 2nd gen as a whole). His visuals are on another level compared to most other idols. Also, in terms of attractiveness, OP you have no idea how many people simp for BB's looks, including male celebs. So thank you op for creating an appreciation thread for the kings.

Well, they're successful despite being "ugly" & "unattractive". That means people are into their music, not their appearance. And that is the reason of their longevity and relevance until today.
They're not visual group but def attractive lol
