Yuri had the better song and album in my opinion. Glassy is well produced.

Not sure tbh. Both are around the same level with the same potential to me. It's just a matter of preference: cute vs sexy. I enjoyed both of them. Personally though, I'm really looking forward to see what Yena brings to the table. I think she's capable of blowing everyone's expectations out of the water.

Yuri bored me with her title track, Eunbi’s was a little more inventive. I voted for Eunbi, but I’ll check out both of their albums and possibly change my vote.

I prefer Door because I prefer jazzy K-pop over disco K-pop.

But I don't see an IU influence.

The structure of the chorus of Door reminds me of the chorus of Coin, but not the sound. The sound doesn't remind me of Red Shoes. It reminds me more of JYP's Swing Baby or Girl's Day's Macaron.

For Glassy the "larara larara" backing vocals is from a Bossa Nova song. The rest of the song is disco and IU only did it in LILAC.

Thank god someone bumped this, i cant believe i missed this thread. This should be made a contender for Thread of the Year at AKP.

For me, Eunbi definitely had better music. Door is better than Glassy, and her top B side and best song, Blue Eyes, is better than Yuri's top B side and best song, Express Moon.

As performers, they're both tied. Yuri is my bias in Izone and one of my top biases behind Lisa and Mina, but Eunbi served with her debut, i cant in good conscience vote Yuri over her.

I made a facetious thread before proclaiming Yuri as the next IU but maybe, hopefully, there will prove to be a kernel of truth behind it.

Both are doing so well physically too, Eunbi will hit 60k on Gaon and Yuri already has 47k on Hanteo after 2 days. Both will end up around the top 25ish alltime on Gaon for female soloists with their debuts, Yuri looks like she might go even higher. Thanks for making this thread.

I like both but I really love Glassy. The aesthetic, the catchiness, the vibe of it all, the looks, everything. It's just my style.
