I'm always so sad whenever newer K-fans don't know Yoo Young Jin. Especially if they are SM group fans. Seriously? You want to claim that you appreciate music but don't know the person who makes the music you enjoy?

Teddy literally has like 26 number one hits to his credit. We're talking Gaon (and before that Melon) Weekly number ones, not realtime or daily number ones that many songs can get. Plus probably at least another 15 top 10 hits. I highly doubt YYJ has 40+ top 10 hits or 26 number one hits.

Yoo Young Jin is Yoo Young Jin, he's SM's soul when it comes to music, their R&B obsession and trademark has got a lot to do with this man. I'd add Kenzie as well though, those 2 are basically what shaped SM's music since the 90s.

YYJ is responsible for SM's old trademark : SMP. Aka Don't don, Rising Sun, Triangle, A Man In Love, MAMA

And he's also responsible for SM's traditional RnB sound: Sorry Sorry Answer, Before U Go, Hot Times, What's Love

And he produced or co-produced some of SM artists biggest hits and/or most iconic songs like SJ's Sorry Sorry, Bonamana, Mr Simple, Superman, Mamacita, Super Girl.
