Which group/soloist got you into K-Pop and how did you discover them?

If I had a dollar for the amount of times I've answered this, I'd be a very rich woman. It was SuJu for boy group and 2NE1 for girl group back in 2011 through my daughter who was nine back then. She introduced me to them and K pop by accident. We were watching TV one Sunday morning when she was changing the channel to see what was on and SBS PopAsia came on. We both started watching and thought it was cool. I have her to thank for that, and yes she did follow it too for a while but no so much now.

The kpop group i got exposed to first was twice. My brother is a huge sana fanboy and showed me the cheer up and tt mv.

BTS and Blackpink songs were the first for me. During that period I was just a casual listener. Then I discovered TWICE after hearing their song in a line distribution channel.

First song I heard was Psy's "Gangnam Style", but it was not only until I discovered BLACKPINK that I got into Kpop (Kill this Love era😩)

SNSD, to be specific it was Gee. I was dumbfounded how tf did they act as mannequin and it was so surreal. It was the best Kpop music video i've seen back then. Since then i started to see them appearing on TV and stuff, my ass back then in 2009 didnt know how to get access to Youtube so i need to patiently wait for Gee to be played on TV lol
