which flop is more unexpected : BOY vs BLACK MAMBA

Black mamba was not a flop imo. That was the best debut sm had in a longggg time. I had EXTREMELY high expectations for smngg and they had surpassed it.

The mv, music and the concept was unlike any other.

So I'll go with boy. It was a little messy in comparison.

BOY. I was still under the impression (carried out all the way from 2nd gen) that yg is great at digital.

probably BOY because Winner and IKON did so well during their debut so i was expecting them to do really well and i think they were teased for a very long time, aespa i was not expecting much because of all the hate it reminded me so much when rv debuted.

Bruh, Teddy isn't involved on any of TREASURE's current discography.

Black mamba is not a flop they charted better than majority of Sm debuts and have better longevity than all of them as it's still charting today :confused:

Black Mamba didn't surpass other SM GG debut in terms of its peak, but it surpassed a lot of them in terms of longevity on the chart.

As for Treasure, I don't think anyone was expecting their debut to do well digitally, but I was surprised they couldn't even enter Melon's Top 100.

Treasure : messy song (going crazy should be saved for debut tt), yg scandal, 2 year hiatus after treasure box (losing hype).

aespa: when did SM debut chart well?+ Fake scandal which makes the girls hated even during D-Day+ lowest melon rating in history. I thought at that time oh well maybe won't reach melon top100. But it turns out BM it's not that flop as I imagined since they can gradually climb and enter melon top100

Yeah. Happiness peaked at #5 on gaon but outside of that nothing much. No idea about fx. I think in a way even without a decent peak BM is out lasting happiness? Not a good performance overall for either.

knetz despise yg plus treasure's debut was delayed a fkng lot. They will've done better if they were debuted in 2018/19
