BTS is currently charting 7 singles simultaneously in the top 100 of Gaon’s Digital Chart (Butter, Permission to Dance, Dynamite, Savage Love [BTS Remix], Boy with Luv, Life Goes On, & Spring Day).
There are two other artists I can think of that have done that in Gaon’s 11-year history.
1. IU since the release of LILAC has charted 7 singles (Lilac, Celebrity, Hold My Hand, Eight, Blueming, Love Poem, & Give You My Heart). 8 if you count Coin.
2. BIGBANG charted 9 singles at the same time for a week (when FXXK IT dropped in December 2016). But in the summer of 2015 (when single album “E” dropped), they charted 8 singles simultaneously for 8 weeks.
And yes, before someone tries to prove me wrong, BTS is very much on BB’s level digitally now. No one’s touching IU though.
