like being an idol isnt really his/her passion (or lost the passion) , they're not happy and not living their life by being an idol .. do u rather have them leave the group/industry or do u want them to just stay on the industry/group ?
what if your bias actually dont like/enjoy being an idol ?

It's their life, who am I to choose? Whatever they decide.
-
My faves would be some of most stupidest people in the world if they didn't like being idols after staying 14 years in the biz and passing up multiple opportunies to leave lol.
-
Whatever makes them happy. Mental health is always most important and should come first. Plus as a 2nd gen stan I've been fans of plenty of idols who have come and go and leave the idol life.
Biggest one is Sunye of the Wonder Girls that crosses my mind right now.
-
Well I wouldn’t want to pressure or even force them to continue something that they don’t want to do anymore.
Simply they shouldn’t have to ask for my take on the matter, as it really comes down to their own decision.
I would respect whatever they choose to do

this already happened, most of my biases have gone to acting/socialite life and never came back to being idols lol so I just accept it, if that's what makes them happy who am I to be angry about it? being an idol is so tiring both physically and mentally, I wouldn't wish anyone to keep being one despite not wanting to

I wouldn’t care, it’s whatever makes them happy. I don’t run their life,

Then he can go to school to become a psychologist or accountant or whatever. He's the type of person who can switch paths if he puts his mind and effort into it.
-
I bet there's a decent amount of idols who aren't really passionate about their job. Male or female, 3rd gen or 4th gen.
-
I wonder too. There are some idols I could see retiring to do other things (like the girls from RAINBOW) but I want to be proven wrong LOL
-
Wouldn't be surprised if they didn't enjoy idol life. I just wish for them to do what they feel is right. It's not as simple as stop doing what you don't like. There's other factors.
-
their life their choice...
but then again lots of people don't like their job so why should idols be any different?
-
I feel like we constantly forget that this isn't always a passion or something but it's also a job. They go to work. Sometimes you like your job and sometimes you don't.
I'm sure at some point most wanted to leave, many stuck w it because this is what they always wanted to do and many stuck with it because of the salary. Either way it's fine.
We shouldn't expect them to be super passionate all the time, they are employees who just have more public jobs.
Going back to the question, if my bias didn't like being an idol. I would ask them to just weigh the pros and cons of leaving, like you would advise a regular worker.
-
I would like them to follow their heart and make their own choice. They can't often leave while their contract is still valid. It can be hard somethimes to leave before contract renewals.
-
Leave… obsessive fans and antis ain’t worth the stress and pressure if you lost the passion for it.
-
It's their life to decide what career they want.
