Aespa releasing one of the biggest hits this year, Next Level. It’s longevity is seriously impressive and is STILL #2 on Melon over 2 months later.
Then you have Taeyeon’s Weekend that is continuing to peak 2 weeks after the songs release. It’s shaping up to be SM’s second biggest hit this year after Next Level.
And of course you can’t forget Joy’s solo debut with Hello. She is doing pretty well on the charts too, being stable in Melon’s top 20 for well over a month now.
Honorary Mention:
While Wendy’s Like Water may not have been so well received on the Korean charts compared to the former songs, she more than made up for it in incredible album sales by selling over 180K+. We love a stable and supportive fanbase.
with that said, SM just announced Hyoyeon to be releasing a single in August.
