It depends on your viewpoint outside of sales. Moving BTS in a separate " (crossover) mainstream Pop" category instead of K-Pop, EXO still has a golden catalog that Seventeen needs to add more songs to get to. They are trailing EXO if that's considering EXO #1 or #2.

IDK if OP is really asking or is trying to set seventeen up but it's not working. IMO number wise it can change but overall I believe (in my own opinion so you don't need to correct me) NCT and Seventeen are tied for this place since it can change anytime.

Yeah but in the list that the op posted (charts of new albums) they are no.1

Idk if op meant:

1) Seventeen is no.2 in all their album sales combined (I am not sure if Seventeen has surpassed Exo total albums sales yet to take the 2nd place but they might have IDK).

2) Or OP meant sales per album (Seventeen are not 2nd in this either. BTS and NCT dream albums are ahead. BTS is no.1 and NCT dream is no.2 for hot sauce now for the most sold-out album).

3) or OP meant sales in this period (ie the new chart list where they are no.1 in the original post).

So they are either no.1 or 3rd depending on what OP meant.

but anyways seventeen hasnt achieved as much sales as NCT Dream with a single album so I would say in physical sales they arent 2nd.. whats the highest sale they have made?
