The song is a bit confusing at first but it’s in fact a quirky gem.
I always think it's a big bop since the moment it came out. I didn't realize that this is considered to be a decisive song.

I actually grew to love it over time. Was I initially disappointed? Yes, but it's actually an enjoyable song.
Yeah. Like you said. Its a very different vibe from Bad Boy. And before it came out, I put a very high expectation on the song to sound as good or even better than Bad Boy. And thats on me.
it's catchy, not wow an amazing song by any means, but you can jam to it. I honestly didn't get the hate, even rookie was catchy too.
I think it's just because repeats the chorus part a lot in the song. Otherwise, RBB is one of Red Velvet's songs with the best bridge part.
