I think OP means songs by nugu groups that become viral unexpectedly.

BBom BBom was probably the biggest kpop hit (besides Gangnam Style?) in asean countries but globally, Gangnam Style, Dynamite and Dx4 had more impact.

If we’re talking about ASEAN only , it’s Boom Boom but even that may be restricted to some parts of SEA like the Philippines. Travel south of this region and you will find the likes of D4, HYLT and even Boy With Luv.
If we’re talking about global hit, including the West, outside of Gangnam Style which is the biggest, it’s Dynamite based on charting, AirPlay, coverage on TV (including being constantly used in variety of commercials, TV trailers, reality shows and even the 2020/2021 New Year’s anthem in several European and Asian countries), as well as social media coverage. I still find randos on Instagram and Facebook using Dynamite or someone else’s cover of it in their Stories and videos. It’s also been used as BGM for random ads unrelated to BTS.

Sorry, I just reread your OP. If you’re not referring to the GP but only Kpop community, then yes, Boom Boom is the biggest but I would also throw in Twice’s Fancy with the way it blew up on Kpop stan TW.
