I think their songs are very catchy still. Twice are fine where they are, making the music they want to.
They're still successful, and I'm loving everything they put out.
Um, did you not see this? Literally one of the catchiest songs of 2020 and still better than 99 percent of songs released in 2021.
It's not the producer's fault.
It's the A&R team that decided to give Twice this new sound. Producers just have to follow the rules...

jyp girl groups used to come out with the best and catchiest music ever from wonder girls to missA to early twice and even some of itzys title tracks. but lately idk something’s up that’s just causing them to release boring and not very impactful music

Sorry but Cry for Me and ICSM were such good quality releases for Twice last year. I even liked Feel Special a lot the year before. Alcohol-free really isn’t that bad. It’s far more relaxed, simple, in the girls range, and fits the summer concept. I think the chorus is catchy and then Sana’s part as well.
It’s not because of the songs that you feel no ‘catchy feels’ anymore, it’s because Twice are slowly coming down from their peak, they have been for a few years now. There not as impactful as they once were (they are still massive and successful, just not like they were at their peak). That’s life and it happens to every group eventually.

honestlyy We Go is a BOP
I have always enjoyed TWICE Music. I didn’t really notice their change, I just saw their 2019 - 2020 and were like “wow TWICE is going to make a diverse discography”. Now looking back at the old releases, WOW I realized how well they developed.
As for the music, I love how they experimented new sounds. I still love their songs. I just think they should make some more songs that are like the old songs, which usually contain KEY choreo and KILLING PART, I will probably sing all day.
