I can't believe this is happening again after their success with The Album last year, but we are really hearing nothing from YGE and let's be honest, this was the same SAME situation as in 2017 where YGE just kept delaying and releasing articles while we were paid dust ....

Me to my past self- Why didn't you stan Blackpink early 2020? You knew ice cream released, you listened to it a lot, why didn't you stan? Why were you so obsessed with Avatar and Miraculous ladybug whose hiatus's are even worse than Blackpink's. You could have enjoyed it while it lasted. Man, it’s difficult being a blink. I hate to complain, but it saddens me when I see groups having comebacks, but blackpink is no where to be found. I know it’s not the girls fault at all, but I just wish YG would open their eyes and understand the power blackpink has. Literally, it’s like they just don’t even realize that they have one of the most iconic groups under their management or something. And I’m sure they know how dedicated blinks are, so why not try to listen to us? I don’t think we ask for that much. Just for the girls to be treated right.

But then, I understand that with so LITTLE content from BLACKPINK, it might be a strategy for explosive success for every comeback. Blinks will accept anything YG give because they have been starved for so long.
But then, we won't know if that content has good quality, or WHEN we will get more content.
YG is pushing the girls into solo modelling careers, which is okay, but it's hard for OT4 fans not seeing them regularly.
For myself, I would say we will get a Lisa solo this year and a BLACKPINK comeback, and then a Jisoo solo next year.
