Most dominant groups digitally overall?

1st Gen doesn't have much available for i-fans, but shout-out to g.o.d! One Candle, Lies, To Mother, and Road were all huge in the early 2000s.
2nd Gen
4. SNSD
3rd Gen
1. BTS
2. TWICE
3. BLACKPINK
4. EXO
Tbh I would put RV and Mamamoo over EXO and Maybe BTOB which have multiple downloads and streaming certifications from Gaon. Overall albums track wise EXO did better but they didnt have any streaming or download certifications (and notable notes from Gaon) yet so far.

I'm well aware EXO has no certifications, but the sheer number of b-sides they have with tens or even hundreds of thousands of downloads puts them above RV and Mamamoo.
BTOB only started performing well in late 2014 and their 2 biggest hits were released less than a year apart. They haven't released as a full group since Hour Moment in late 2018. So they don't make it.

SISTAR were seasonal artists. Their hits were big (some really big like Loving U, Touch My Body, Shake It), but they didn't have good longevity on charts. T-ARA's LOVEY-DOVEY, Bo Beep Bo Beep, Roly-Poly, Sexy Love were all fucking huge. I think they belong on the same tier as SISTAR.
SNSD should go above them now that you bring up that point. SNSD definitely had more hits. 2008-2015 was a good run for them.

Sounds about right

BTOB has 2, but everything else is right.

Inevitably, BP will end up #2. Their stats as a group and individual digitals are the most consistent in raw numbers. Twice will have the most #1s. In the long run, BP will outperform in title tracks, b-sides + successful solos. (SOLO, OTG, even Gone being successful).

Only in kpop and among kpop fans, i see singular digitals are used to rank top group than overall performance
Katy perry had most dominant singles than eminem
But Eminem is bigger digitally, because he sold 200 million downloads on strength of album tracks. Katy's total is like 137 million
Same way if a group album 's perform better overall digitally, they should be ranked above someone , who might have bigger song, but not bigger album

Wow..this is interesting!

None of them, but I know BB's the highest.

Yes. Counting all their tracks

Yes. Counting all their tracks
do you mean up through 2017? because downloads weren't publicly available starting in 2018.

How's twice higher than BP tho?
BP is incredibly close to TWICE in terms of 2018-21 digital points (5,228,794,861 vs. 5,429,329,557), but in terms of 2015-17 digitals, TWICE has far more.
They had 3 smashes in a row with Like Ooh Ahh, Cheer Up, and TT all before Playing with Fire came out. Then you add Knock Knock and Signal which both came out before AIIYL, and then LIKEY and Heart Shaker before D4.
In addition, TWICE has 22.5M certified downloads (not counting b-sides), while BP have 12.5M certified downloads. Streams? TWICE has 1 billion certified, BP has 500 million certified. Whistle and Lovesick Girls being certified in streams still wouldn't match them with TWICE in Korean digitals.

So a matter of time basically & more releases..

Bp released very few songs. A lot of bp hits r bigger than Twice ones.
I know most won't take this into account but bp bsides do way better than any twice bside. Twice bsides rarely receive any transactions on charts.

Yes. There is a sizeable gap for BP to overcome that can only be overcome with time.

I'm well aware of that outside of CU and DTNA, most BP hits are bigger than most TWICE hits. But TWICE consistently released music which was in their favor, especially at the height of 3rd gen K-pop.

I'm sure they can do it tho & faster than expected

YGe better give them some albums. Or the girls can write their own music, they're certainly capable.
