Im inclined to not put non stop and dolphin because each of them lack something. Non stop was explosive but longevity wise, dolphin is stronger. And all the songs above had both (except rollin)

AIIYL not being there is just weird. Its the longest charting gg song in gaon top 100.

If its a Top 10, it will be in this order imo. Im taking into consideration both peak and longetivity

1. Cheer Up

2. D4/Rollin

3. Rollin/D4

4. Red Flavor

5. HYLT

6. TT

7. AIIYL

8. LSG

9. MGT

10.Dolphin/DTNA/Rough/Bboom Bboom

We will see how Dolphin does, it seems like it shld be the clear 10th. If LSG gets 65+ weeks on melon & Gaon top 100s it should easily go up as well.

Putting rollin there solely for the peak. If it has not so good longetivity it will be TT level because the same thing happened to TT

Why no dtna? It's bigger than psycho on the charts. I think it edges out bboom bboom on charts too. Not sure which was the bigger song among public.

Actually it lost to Bboom Bboom on the charts. But not by much. I'll include it because I think Psycho's longetivity has led it down.

If this was solely on charting then the list would be q different. TT would've been outperformed by DTNA and AIIYL

DTNA hasnt reached 1.1Bn gaon points yet. Bboom Bboom has at least 1.13Bn. Gaon points cant really be used to compare songs after 2020 but both songs are released in 2018 so the best metric would still gaon points. Bboom Bboom simply did better at its start and DTNA's longetivity couldnt match it. DTNA even started off decently as well

agree that its between Cheer Up and Rollin, would love to see stats adjusted to its time, like how many weeks and how many points CU scored in 2016 and how many points hit songs were generating in 2016. Rollin seems to have past CU in almost every charts.

Disagree with most of the list in the OP and this thread. Way too much recency bias.

The metrics you're using as well just ignores context too much which contributes to the recency bias.

Melon must have near a million more users now than it did in 2016 so likes are higher on average if a song blows up now.

Longevity records are all over the place because of the new system on Melon and the slow down in releases due to Covid.

Now do one for boy groups.
