Since when is watching TV illegal?

On DVD mainly.

Well they have been closed for so many months but before lockdown main source for me personally would have been the cinema.

Unfortunately we have been under lockdown in the beginning of 2020 and then it has been closed since December but I think it will be opened up again this week or next week not sure :-D

Yeah I am born and raised here but my parents are from Turkey.

And I was thinking why Mary but now it makes sense just forgot you were from Australia.

I would say I do all of it pretty well like I don't have any issues understanding, writing or reading Turkish I may have some issues when speaking it but I only use it at home with family so understandable.

nice...really interesting since whilst I grew up in Australia my chinese written and reading is shit even though i came here when i was almost 7...

did you learn the written and reading part from your parents or a school?

I think I am lucky that we use the Latin alphabet so it definitely makes it easier. I did learn the basic in school like I had a 1,5 hour class once a week for 6 years but me reading in Turkish, listening to Turkish music and watching Turkish TV has maintained it.

I have Netflix but I mostly watch Asian dramas and movies on Kissasian and YouTube.

I pirate them as well , but maybe I would consider subscribing to netflix once I was in a country that it can be used

movie theaters usually...otherwise...sites that show them after searching

I mostly watch movies on Netflix, but sometimes I download via torrent on the pirate bay. Both are well organized so I like to use both. Sometimes I have time to download but I don't always have internet, that's why I have to download some movies or series to my phone and watch them on the way to work. It's convenient too.
