ITZY's English album release already a whole mess

YG did the same thing for Ice Cream. I haven't heard about Zepeto outside of the kpop community...

I am more worried about the lyrics tbh......

i would want a jap debut so much more than this. it's also kinda sad that companies won't realize that some of the charm of kpop for international fans is because it is in another language

I've been thinking about this too. It was on the top of my mind this morning. Substituting with "Gimme that" would have been very practical. Maybe Ryujin part should have be more like, "Shoot your shot/What you got?/'Cause I'm not shy".

I don't know what the rest of the songs sound like, but it would be smart to delay the release and update/polish up ALL the English lyrics. "Be In Love" might be the only track that sounds okay without a big "brush up". I hope other agencies learn a lesson from "Make A Wish (Birthday Song)". It was an incredible smash, but the English version wasn't up to par. If JYPE decides to go ahead with the release schedule, odds are it's going to cost them effectively "cold" reaching a new western audience (figuratively speaking).

I've never heard of Zepeto before and I really didn't need to. Wtf is that animation?? Those facial expressions??

That's because SM buys English demos and then gives them Korean lyrics. The English lyrics sound great because that's the original language the songs were in.

honestly, I was expecting something horrible but this it the equivalent to what koreans hear when they listen to a lot of kpop songs

this is normal. Though I'm expecting it to actually get cringe with the harder verses in the song
