What is your first encounter with your faves? I will go first with BTS and Blackpink. For BTS, I saw a video on youtube titled something along the lines of biggest boy band in the world and it was about BTS. I thought when they said biggest boy band I thought they meant the most people in a boy band. So I searched it up and got a different band and thought that some other band must have took over them as the biggest boy band in the world. I also remember coming across them on a miraculous fanfic. I specifically remember Jungkook's name in red. For Blackpink, it was actually through a fanfic. My favorite show is Miraculous Ladybug and the show's "comebacks" literally are rivaling with Blackpink's comebacks. Basically, it took a long time. So to pass time a lot of fans read Miraculous Ladybug fanfics. I came across this fanfic and it was basically about the main character of the show getting bullied a lot and then went on to become a member of Blackpink (specifically Rose, I know that the e has an accent but don't know how to put it) I remember liking the name Blackpink. At that time I did not think that Blackpink was an actual group as I did not think that a group would have Blackpink as the name. Little did I know that soon I would become Blackpink and BTS fans after only a year after. Bonus: I also remember that they played Gangnam Style in an school party and remembered the song being played in India back when I used to live there and thought that Gangnam Style was an Indian song lol.
