Can SM beat HYBE in album sales if all of their boygroups will make a comeback this year?

There is a huge possiblilty for that, but SM will never do that, I mean there is a reason why they call SM the s-word management. (I can't say a swear word, I am to innocent).

logically speaking only BTS and Seventeen pull major numbers for HYBE and SM has lots of popular boy groups so I will say SM but its not a competition and no one but company stans will care..

Seventeen will make it an overkill. And discounting TXT and En- isn't smart either because they're already selling close to half a million which means their new albums will cross that threshold because of their own individual growth to their fanfase.

TXT has sold 508k for their last album, so they're past that.

you need to check your math. txt and bts alone outsold sm last year. what more if you added seventeen and enhyphen.

bts by themselves are gonna sell like 10m in 2021 not including their back catelogue. And txt is reaching the 500k~600k threshold

If all the SM groups all released an album and got close to BTS sales, all HYBE has to do is have BTS comeback again. Then boom, game over. I'm sure HYBE and BTS don't care though. It would also bankrupt SM and the stans to have that many comebacks in one year.

If BTS releases 2 albums at normal price with 4 versions like they usually do, combined with their back-catalog and japanese sales, they can outsell any company on their own.
