What are your New Year resolutions for kpop?

My resolutions or my hopes?
My resolution is to listen to every K-pop song released in 2026. I had the same resolution last year and listed to about every song released until April (so about 25% of all Kpop songs released in 2025). I hope to at least beat that percentage.

Resolution
- I think my resolution for kpop is to be a less toxic fan. I think I was a bit too harsh towards a certain group. I like the group too, but was disappointed in their output and became toxic towards them.
- I want to attend some kpop concerts. I haven't attended one since 2023, and I think I will make sure to attend a concert or 2 this year.
- To buy less albums because running out of space for them
Hopes
- Another strong year for my favorites
- Hope to see 5th gen groups challenge 4th gen groups because the gap still feels large imo.
- A Yunjin and Chaewon solo would be amazing
- More harmonies in songs
- I want to hear songs that are longer than 2 mins and 30 seconds. Plus, bring back bridges because many good kpop songs could've used them in 2025.

Since Apink and Mamamoo are confirmed to make a comeback, I hope that Red Velvet and Oh My Girl will come back too. I am not worried about Twice. I also expect a Yeri solo debut since she said that she is preparing her album.
My resolution is to listen to Kpop a bit more this year but at this point, the only active groups that I truly anticipate are Idle, IVE and Twice. I don’t feel this connection with the 5th generation groups that I like.

-Tbh the act I'm looking for the most is BB cb bc I want to see the lyrics, they always deliver lyrics based on their situation so I'm quite excited to see if we'll have another MADE like era and their Coachella performance. And obviously a good promo with a possible mini tour or fanmeetings.
- I hope BP comes back with a full album, but knowing YGE incompetence I won't bet too much on it, with kr promo, like everything they didn't get while on YGE...
- The pinks continuation of their solo career with possibly new music and an already planned tour for either the end of 2026 or the beginning of 2027.
- Meovv full album.

- Njz cb to be good enough like they always did... I miss their sound in k-pop as the og sound...
- Ive music like I am or even a tt like Blue blood.

- T.O.P album, I love how he is so deeply involved in his art, music, everything and I'm sure he has a lot to "say" so I'm waiting for an album release with really great songs and lyrics.

And biased as I'm I actually want BB to be the top act in SK this year... BP will slay as always (I hope so), but I want BB winning the daesangs and best male group awards....

I thought this thread was about personal resolutions, as in what we ourselves want to do better as K-pop fans.
Either way, I'll list both.
Resolutions for myself:
Actually watch MVs, performance videos, and stage performances with my full attention instead of multitasking or letting them play in the background. I have a bad habit of just listening as I do other things instead, but I feel like I'm not appreciating the choreo, outfits, video production, and stage production enough. K-pop is best appreciated in its fullest, maximalist form. I need to go back to that, the reason why I got this deep into K-pop in the first place.
Watch more content (variety shows, series that the groups have on their YouTube channels, docuseries, etc.) in full instead of relying on a few clips that are shared on social media.
Let loose and have more fun at concerts.

BIGBANG reunion, comeback, and world tour
T.O.P reunion with BIGBANG
T.O.P album
EXO comeback, world tour, and just overall more activities
Red Velvet U.S. tour (SM really needs to make that happen after so long)
ALLDAY Project world tour and more music
MEOVV world tour and full album
BABYMONSTER world tour (Would be nice if it happens, but I also want them to rest more this year. They had a very active year in 2025.)
IVE tour in U.S. (I already went to their previous one, which was amazing, but would love to see them again)
